The Peer Learning Program is an initiative from CalNonprofits designed to foster informal, peer-driven conversations on key issues affecting the nonprofit sector. This program supplements our existing Educational Programming by providing a space for members to come together every other month to network, share experiences, and develop practical solutions to common challenges.
From artificial intelligence to digital fundraising platforms, new technologies are transforming the way nonprofits operate, connect, and protect their communities. But with rapid change comes new questions:
-How can we use AI responsibly while staying true to our values?
-What digital tools actually deepen engagement with donors and supporters?
-How do small organizations strengthen cybersecurity without overstretching budgets?
This Peer Learning Session invites CalNonprofits members into an open, peer-driven conversation about these pressing questions. Together, we’ll share real-world experiences, lessons learned, and creative approaches to innovation, focusing on both the opportunities and the challenges. Whether your organization is experimenting with AI, exploring new ways to reach donors, or simply trying to safeguard sensitive data, you’ll find practical insights and inspiration from colleagues across the sector.
