The Peer Learning Program is an initiative from CalNonprofits designed to foster informal, peer-driven conversations on key issues affecting the nonprofit sector. This program supplements our existing Educational Programming by providing a space for members to come together every other month to network, share experiences, and develop practical solutions to common challenges.
Our upcoming Employee Retention session will focus on the critical issue of attracting, supporting, and retaining talented staff. In a competitive job market, nonprofits face unique workforce challenges—including turnover, burnout, and workplace sustainability.
This session will offer nonprofit leaders a collaborative environment to discuss strategies for:
-Building a strong workplace culture that fosters employee satisfaction and engagement.
-Addressing challenges like burnout and turnover with peer-tested solutions.
-Exploring best practices in compensation, workplace flexibility, and professional development.
-Learning from each other’s experiences in a space that is less structured than formal educational programs, allowing for organic and meaningful discussions.
